This is another caricature I made for practice and learning.
In a larger format - 27 x 36 cm - with pencil on drawing paper.

John Paul II was a popular Pope who flew around the world to visit the Catholic faithful on all continents.
I portrayed him like this, waving at the people. Up in the clouds, God watches with a smile.
I later portrayed this long-serving Pope a few more times for the Flemish children's magazine 'Klap'.
